Terms of use

By making an account you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Path. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person per account, and don't pretend to be somebody else.

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks the community guidelines.

What you post stays yours

You keep ownership of your photos, notes, and ratings. To run the service we need permission to store them and show them to the people your privacy settings allow — that is all the licence you grant us, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content or the account.

Only post photos you took or otherwise have the right to use. If something of yours has been posted by someone else, report it or write to us and we will take it down.

What you agree not to do

  • Break the community guidelines.
  • Scrape the service, or hit it with automated traffic it was not designed for.
  • Try to get at accounts, data, or systems that are not yours.
  • Resell access to Path, or present it as your own product.

What Path does not promise

Path is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, that a recommendation on it is accurate, or that a place someone rated highly will be to your taste. Ratings and notes are the opinions of the travelers who wrote them.

Use judgement about your own safety when you travel somewhere you found here. We are not responsible for what happens on a trip.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Path after that means you accept the new version.
